Recently we engaged Triple EFF Consulting to do a virtual walk through and “New View” Assessment of our screenprinting business. We’ve been operating for over 10 years and have grown and moved through 3 spaces now. With our most recent move in February of this year we thought it timely to get advice and guidance on how best to set up and operate in our new space.
Triple EFF helped us to understand the opportunity we have with this move to streamline processes and become more efficient from start to finish. Frank asked us to explain our current process and flagged areas that are working, as well as places that could be improved. Even though it was a virtual walkthrough, the act of standing at our front door and tracking a job’s path through the business helped us to understand and prioritise the elements that would help us gain the most traction.
Frank also highlighted some safety practises and checkpoints in a way that showed us that it can become a real part of our culture. Overall the conversation with Frank felt like a chat with a mentor in the most practical sense, his ability to translate his large scale corporate experience to our small business was key to helping us recognise our potential within this business. What I appreciated overall was the chance to have a sounding board for ideas that always sit in the back of mind of a small business owner. There will always be a million different things to deal with but having the guidance from Triple EFF we feel like the ideal of smooth systems and protocols that help protect our staff and our business are well within reach.
